Job summary

Greene King’s Chef & Brewer pubs are seeking a Kitchen Team Leader who leads by example, ensuring the team have everything they need so service runs like clockwork, and that every dish meets the highest standards.

You will support the team, deputise for management when needed, maintain hygiene and safety, and help organise the kitchen during busy service, enabling smooth operations and quality meals for customers.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a kitchen team and maintain high hygiene standards.
• Ability to maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen.
• Strong English communication and allergen controls understanding.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy service, making sure everything runs like clockwork.
