Job summary

Premier Inn in Stirling South is hiring a Kitchen Team Leader to run the kitchen day-to-day, manage rotas, place food orders, and lead the team through busy services. You’ll work closely with your Hotel Manager to maintain quality and hygiene, with a view to developing towards Head Chef.

Role is 30 hours per week at up to £14.31 per hour, with training and Whitbread Benefits to support your career in hospitality in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and managing rotas.
• Understanding of food ordering, stock control and costs.
• Knowledge of health, safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Own food ordering, stock control and keeping food costs on track for the hotel.
• Lead during service - organise the team, manage workflow and ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare, cook and serve menu to spec - including Premier Inn breakfasts and pub classics.
• Ensure kitchen meets health, safety and hygiene standards and keep records updated.
• Step up during shifts and help new team members settle in.
• Learn kitchen management to progress to more senior roles.
