Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to guide the kitchen crew, ensuring high standards and smooth service across busy periods.

You’ll empower your team, uphold hygiene and safety, and deputise for managers when required, keeping everything running like clockwork during peak times.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and pull together as a team.
• Passion for delivering tasty and well-presented meals to customers each and every time.
• Be a role model to the team by maintaining high standards for customers.
• An ability to think on your feet and adapt to challenges during busy service.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy service, making sure everything runs like clockwork.
