Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC in Cleadon is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to back the Head Chef in creating a kitchen to be proud of. You’ll master the branded menu, train people, and help drive great guest experiences.

This role sits at Toby Carvery, “home of the roast,” and offers a friendly path to advancement within our brand family. You’ll lead by example, coach chefs, manage stock and ordering, and ensure health and hygiene compliance across shifts, while enjoying staff discounts and career

Qualifications

• Experience leading kitchen teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong focus on training and developing staff.
• Passion for achieving targets while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire Chefs and Kitchen Team to deliver high-quality meals.
• Drive performance by smashing targets with your team.
• Assist with food ordering, prep, and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
• Support branded menu execution across shifts.
