Job summary

Miller & Carter - Brighton is looking for a Kitchen Team Leader to support the Head Chef, and to lead a team of Chefs in delivering great food to guests. You’ll train great people and champion the branded menu, while driving performance and guest satisfaction.

You’ll oversee food ordering, stock control, and hygiene compliance, ensuring smooth kitchen operations and high standards across service. This is a hands-on leadership role with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Lead and inspire kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Drive towards targets with your team to ensure consistent guest satisfaction.
• Assist with food ordering, prep, and stock control to maintain kitchen efficiency.
• Master the branded menu and ensure consistent quality across all dishes.
• Oversee adherence to health and hygiene regulations in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Train and motivate Chefs and Kitchen Team to deliver pride-worthy dishes.
• Smash targets with your team while maintaining service standards.
• Assist with food ordering, preparation and stock control processes.
• Operate confidently with a branded menu and consistent portioning.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations across the kitchen.
