Job summary

The Melville Inn is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to support the Head Chef in building a kitchen to be proud of, mastering the menu with a passion for serving great food and training great people. You will be the driving force behind a motivated kitchen team across Vintage Inns.

Join us to train and inspire chefs, smash targets with your team, manage food ordering and stock, and ensure high standards of health and hygiene while delivering a superb dining experience for guests.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team in a pub or restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of health and hygiene regulations and food safety practices.
• Ability to train and develop kitchen staff to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a passion for mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire Chefs and Kitchen Team to deliver food you can be proud of.
• Beat targets with your team and contribute to menu execution.
• Assist with food ordering, prep, and stock control.
• Ensure teams work with branded menus and maintain consistency.
• Oversee compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
