LGH Hotels Management is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to join the kitchen team at Holiday Inn Cardiff City Centre. You will help keep the kitchen clean, organised and safe, supporting chefs with basic prep and set‑up to ensure smooth service.

This behind‑the‑scenes role maintains hygiene standards, assists with washing, food preparation and cleaning duties, and ensures compliance with food safety guidelines.

• Reliable and hardworking person with a hands-on approach.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Willingness to learn and support chefs with basic prep.

Mansioni

• Wash and clean dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment thoroughly and efficiently
• Keep all kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised throughout the shift
• Sweep and mop floors and manage waste and recycling responsibly
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling and chopping vegetables
• Receive, check and store deliveries of food and kitchen supplies correctly
• Support kitchen set‑up and close‑down procedures
• Clean cooking equipment and work surfaces to hygiene standards
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety guidelines at all times
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support smooth service
• Report any maintenance, hygiene or health & safety concerns promptly
