Job summary

Loungers is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to join a busy, friendly kitchen team. This role focuses on keeping the kitchen clean, safe, and organised while supporting chefs with food prep as needed. You'll contribute to delivering freshly cooked food on time and maintain high standards across the kitchen.

The position offers up to £12.71/hr + tips, paid breaks, staff meals every shift, and a 50% discount on food and drinks from day one, with opportunities for development across a growing brand.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and well organised throughout the day.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchen areas, equipment, and washing up.
• Support the chefs with food prep during service and prep time.
• Follow food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Stick to Lounge kitchen processes and equipment guides.
• Work as part of one team to deliver a brilliant customer experience.
