Position Overview

As the Kitchen Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a reputation for exceptional homemade food and outstanding service. You will supervise and mentor a dynamic team, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency in all aspects of kitchen operations. Your passion for food and dedication to creating a supportive work environment will be key to their continued success.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and inspire a team of kitchen staff to consistently achieve excellence in food preparation and service.
  2. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth, efficient service from prep through to plating.
  3. Maintain top-quality presentation standards for all dishes, prioritising customer satisfaction.
  4. Manage health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean, organised kitchen environment.
  5. Manage inventory, ordering, and waste control to maximise kitchen efficiency and minimise costs.
  6. Manage kitchen staff rotas to ensure optimal coverage and work-life balance.
Requirements
  1. Demonstrated experience leading teams in a high-paced kitchen setting.
  2. Positive, proactive attitude, committed to a high-morale and supportive work environment.
  3. Strong communication and leadership skills, with an ability to motivate and develop your team.
  4. Highly organised, with a focus on consistency and efficiency.
  5. Passionate about food, with an eye for detail and dedication to exceptional quality.
