Job summary

The Celtic Collection is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Steward to join the team at Ty Hotel in Newport. If you enjoy working in a busy kitchen and don’t mind getting hands dirty, this could be a great fit for you.

You’ll keep dishwashing equipment running safely, ensure the kitchen and staff areas stay clean and tidy, and help chefs by keeping pans and utensils ready.

This casual role offers shifts as needed, pays £12.71 per hour, and requires eligibility to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Some kitchen experience would be great (but a willingness to learn is just as important!)
• Someone who can work quickly and stay organised in a fast-paced environment
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is ideal

Responsibilities

• Keeping all dishwashing equipment running safely and smoothly
• Making sure the kitchen and staff areas stay clean and tidy
• Cleaning stoves, grills, and other kitchen equipment properly
• Helping keep all outlets stocked with clean equipment
• Making sure chefs always have clean pans ready to go
