Job summary

The Celtic Collection is seeking a Casual Kitchen Steward for our Ty Hotel in Newport. You will help keep kitchen operations running smoothly, ensure cleanliness and order, and support chefs with clean equipment and pans.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced kitchen and is willing to learn. Trading in a hospitality setting, you’ll work on a casual shift basis, with an emphasis on reliability, teamwork, and a positive, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Some kitchen experience would be great, but willingness to learn is important.
• Ability to work quickly and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Keeping all dishwashing equipment running safely and smoothly.
• Cleaning stoves, grills, and other kitchen equipment properly.
• Ensuring kitchen and staff areas stay clean and tidy.
• Helping keep outlets stocked with clean equipment.
• Ensuring chefs have clean pans ready to go.
