Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in similar capacity is required.
• Experience operating kitchen equipment and tools is preferred.
• Must be physically able to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to work with industrial-strength cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize cookware, utensils, dishes and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain clean preparation areas, floors, sinks and workstations.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and handle cleaning products safely.
• Organise and return clean kitchenware to storage areas.
• Collect and dispose of kitchen waste according to sanitation procedures.
• Assist with receiving, moving and storing kitchen supplies when required.
• Monitor cleaning materials and report shortages or equipment problems.
• Support chefs and kitchen personnel during preparation, service and closing activities.
