Job summary

Ocean Hotels Barbados is seeking a Steward to maintain the highest standard of kitchen cleanliness and organization in our hotel. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen surfaces and contents and supporting kitchen operations in accordance with HACCP regulations.

The Steward must demonstrate attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work extended shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduated Secondary School
• No experience required
• Training will be provided

Responsibilities

• Load and operate dishwashers, ensuring glassware and cutlery are cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintain clean kitchen walls, drains, and workstations.
• Set up smoothly for buffets and functions and ensure clean-up after events.
• Keep high cleanliness standards and follow HACCP regulations.
• Assist with general kitchen operations as needed.
