J D Wetherspoon is seeking a Kitchen shift manager for Goodman’s Field, Tower Hamlets. This role supports the kitchen and pub managers, runs shifts unsupervised, and aims to meet sales, profit and compliance targets.

You will lead the team to deliver excellent customer service, ensure food is served to specification, and adhere to SOPs while maintaining a safe, compliant workplace. The position offers training, development, and a competitive package.

• taking responsibility in achieving all financial targets set for the kitchen, by taking proactive steps to build sales and control costs

Vacancy Description

A kitchen shift manager supports the kitchen manager and pub manager and takes responsibility for the kitchen operation. This includes supporting, leading and motivating the team to meet sales, profit and compliance targets.

As a kitchen shift manager, you will run shifts and work unsupervised to achieve the following daily:

• excellent customer service
• serving food to the correct specification, while achieving food-delivery-time targets at all times
• adhering to all Wetherspoon standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies, to maintain a clean, safe and legal workplace
