Job summary

Pro Kitchens Nottingham is seeking an Experienced Kitchen Sales Designer to join our growing independent team in Nottingham. You will guide customers from enquiry to design and sale, creating practical, high-quality kitchen layouts that fit budgets and lifestyles.

You will combine design flair with commercial insight, building strong customer relationships and driving orders. Join a supportive team with a dedicated Project Manager to handle installation once orders are finalised.

Qualifications

• Kitchen sales and design experience in a similar role.
• CAD design using ArtiCAD, Fusion 2020 or Winner.
• Proven ability to convert enquiries into sales.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building.
• Understanding of pricing, margins and profitable sales.
• Attention to detail in designs and orders.
• Experience working to sales targets; commission experience is a plus.
• Organised, proactive and team-driven.

Responsibilities

• Meeting customers and understanding requirements, budgets and preferences.
• Creating attractive, practical kitchen designs tailored to each customer.
• Using CAD software to produce professional designs and layouts.
• Preparing quotations and presenting proposals clearly and confidently.
• Advising on cabinetry, worktops, appliances, finishes and design options.
• Building relationships with customers and keeping in touch throughout the sales process.
• Following up enquiries and quotations to progress sales.
• Using sales skills to convert opportunities into orders.
• Processing kitchen orders accurately and ensuring specifications are complete.
• Preparing information for handover to the Project Manager.
• Collaborating with the team to deliver a great customer experience and support growth.
