At Drew Forsyth & Co, we're looking for a commercially minded, motivated individual to join our team in Knutsford.
You might already be a successful Kitchen Sales Designer, or you could come from a background in luxury interiors, bespoke furniture or another high-value sales environment.
What matters most is your commercial confidence, ability to develop client relationships and ambition to succeed.
With qualified client enquiries, truly bespoke products and an uncapped monthly bonus, this is an opportunity to combine a rewarding career with excellent earning potential.
About Drew Forsyth & Co
Drew Forsyth & Co is a family-run bespoke kitchen company built on craftsmanship, quality, and exceptional design. Founded over 40 years ago, our Hebden Bridge showroom is a destination for clients who expect the very best and our factory produces some of the finest kitchens in the UK.
We don't just fit kitchens, either. We design, manufacture and install, taking of every part of the process, from A to Z.
Now, as our company expands and grows, we're looking for a Kitchen Sales Designer who combines genuine design talent with ability to think on your feet, and who wants to build a career with an established company in the industry.
The Opportunity
This is a client-facing role combining design, relationship building and consultative sales.
You will:
- Work with clients investing in high-quality, bespoke kitchens, helping them explore ideas, understand what's possible and create something truly personal to their home.
- Take ownership of your client relationships, from the initial consultation through to securing the project, balancing creative thinking with commercial awareness.
- Be supported by an appointment-setting team generating qualified enquiries, allowing you to focus on developing client relationships and progressing opportunities.
With our own manufacturing team, you'll have the advantage of offering genuinely bespoke solutions and working closely with the people who bring your clients' designs to life.
We're looking for someone who enjoys the creative side of luxury interiors but is equally motivated by achieving results and developing a successful sales career.
What You'll Be Doing
- Meeting with prospective clients, understanding their requirements and developing strong, professional relationships.
- Taking responsibility for client enquiries, ensuring opportunities are followed up and progressed effectively.
- Developing creative, bespoke kitchen concepts that reflect each client's home, lifestyle and budget.
- Presenting designs, proposals and quotations with confidence.
- Using your commercial judgement to guide clients through their decisions and convert enquiries into confirmed projects.
- Managing your own client relationships and maintaining momentum throughout the sales process.
- Working collaboratively with our manufacturing and installation teams to ensure design details and client briefs are realised.
- Keeping up to date with luxury kitchen trends, materials and design options.
- Taking ownership of your individual performance and contributing to the continued success of the business.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines excellent people skills with strong commercial instincts and the personal ambition to succeed.
You’ll ideally have:
- A proven track record of success in a sales-focused, client-facing role.
- Experience in kitchens, bespoke furniture, luxury interiors or another high-value consultative sales environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to convert enquiries into sales.
- The ability to build trust and rapport with clients, particularly those making significant purchases.
- Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
- A proactive, organised approach to managing enquiries and following up opportunities.
- Self‑motivation, personal ambition and a genuine desire to achieve excellent results.
- An appreciation for quality, detail, craftsmanship and design.
- The ability to think on your feet, solve problems and work effectively with colleagues.
- Experience with kitchen design software or 3D CAD, particularly Cabinet Vision, would be an advantage.
- However, we’re equally interested in exceptional sales professionals who have the commercial ability, creativity and aptitude to develop their kitchen design knowledge.
Could Your Experience Be Transferable?
You don't necessarily need to have spent your career selling kitchens.
We’d also welcome applications from commercially successful individuals with experience in luxury furniture, interiors, bathrooms, bespoke home improvements or other high-value, consultative sales environments.
Kitchen design experience would be an advantage, but strong commercial ability, client relationship skills and a proven track record in sales are equally important.
