Job summary

Howdens Joinery is recruiting Kitchen Sales Designers to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment. You will build relationships with trade customers and their clients, support design and selling activities, and visit client homes for measurements and consultations.

No prior design experience required as training is provided. You will be part of a busy depot with a strong team culture, a 40-hour week, and a comprehensive benefits package including bonuses, pension, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience hitting sales targets and KPIs.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with trade customers and clients.
• Excellent communication skills to convey ideas clearly.
• Full UK driving license with access to own vehicle for home visits.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales performance by achieving depot targets.
• Build strong customer relationships through design support.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout projects.
• Conduct home visits to measure and understand client needs.
• Negotiate prices while protecting margin and design integrity.
• Plan and create inspirational yet practical designs using product knowledge.
