Oval Deene in North Ayrshire is seeking a Senior Kitchen Sales Designer to join our established kitchen business. You will guide customers from initial consultation through to completed kitchen design using ArtiCAD and manage your own project pipeline.

The role combines creative design with proactive sales, delivering exceptional service and aiming to meet showroom targets, with a basic salary of £30,000–£32,500 plus commission.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Kitchen Designer/Sales Designer with strong design ability.
• Experience using ArtiCAD or comparable kitchen CAD software.
• Proven track record of achieving kitchen sales targets.
• Excellent design and space-planning skills.

Responsibilities

The Role

As Senior Kitchen Sales Designer, you will work closely with customers to understand their lifestyle, requirements and budget before creating inspirational kitchen designs using ArtiCAD.

You will be responsible for managing your own customer pipeline and projects, converting enquiries into sales and ensuring clients receive an outstanding level of service throughout the process.

Key responsibilities will include

• Meeting customers and conducting detailed design consultations
• Understanding individual requirements, budgets and timescales
• Creating innovative and practical kitchen designs using ArtiCAD
• Producing accurate plans, quotations and presentations
• Managing customer enquiries and following up opportunities
• Converting leads into profitable sales
• Managing the complete customer journey from initial consultation through to order
• Ensuring designs are technically accurate and suitable for installation
• Liaising with colleagues, suppliers and installation teams where required
• Managing multiple projects and customers simultaneouslyDeveloping strong relationships and generating repeat and referral business
• Consistently working towards individual and showroom sales targets

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Designer / Kitchen Sales Designer
• Experience using ArtiCAD or strong experience with comparable kitchen CAD software
• A proven track record of achieving kitchen sales targets
• Excellent design and space-planning ability
• Strong attention to detail and technical understanding
• Confidence presenting designs and quotations to customersExcellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A consultative and customer-focused approach to sales
• Strong commercial awareness and the drive to maximise sales opportunities
• The ability to manage a customer from initial enquiry through to order
• A professional, enthusiastic and personable approach

Package

• £30,000 – £32,500 basic salary
