Job summary

Restaurant Associates in the UK is recruiting a part-time Kitchen Porter to support busy venues, including RHS Garden Wisley. The role requires working across venues with a 7-day operation, evenings and weekends, and a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week at 12.95 per hour.

You will clean dishes and equipment, maintain hygiene and safety, assist chefs with deliveries, stock handling and rotation, and help keep kitchen areas tidy.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced hospitality environments is desirable.

Job description

As a Kitchen Porter, you'll play a key role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. Working behind the scenes, you'll provide essential support to the wider team while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety. Your responsibilities will include ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and ready for service, keeping kitchen and storage areas clean, organised, and safe, assisting with basic food preparation tasks as required, supporting chefs with deliveries, stock handling, and rotation, and upholding strict hygiene, health, and food safety standards at all times.
Shifts will vary between Monday to Sunday. Due to the nature of the business, successful candidates should be flexible and able to work evenings and weekends.

Salary: 12.95 per hour Contract: 16-hour weekly guaranteed minimum. Working across venues that have a 7 day a week operation.
