Job description

We are an independent hotel set in the Hertfordshire countryside. We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter Supervisor to work in our busy kitchens.

Duties of the Kitchen Porter Supervisor will involve:

1. Overseeing our team of Kitchen Porters to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and correctly
2. Ensuring the standards in the washing up areas are maintained
3. Managing and ordering the stock required for the kitchen
4. Washing pots, pans, and crockery as required
5. General cleaning of the kitchen - floors & work surfaces
6. Assisting chefs when required

Previous experience is a distinct advantage; however, full training will be provided.

This is a casual role, and hours of work will be given as per the business needs. It is expected that the hours offered will be between 30-50 per week.

It is recommended that candidates have their own transport due to our rural location.
