Job summary

Caravan Southbank, London is recruiting a Kitchen Porter to join our bustling new kitchen. As part of a brand new team, you’ll work with the Head Chef to keep standards high and help guests enjoy outstanding hospitality.

You’ll be responsible for health and safety, maintaining a clean, well-organised section, and supporting the team with stock and prep. We offer meals on shift, dining discounts, wellbeing support and opportunities for career progression.

This November, we’re opening our tenth, and biggest, Caravan at the Southbank. And we’re looking for a brilliant Kitchen Porter to join our brand new kitchen team. We’re after someone kind, hard working, and high-energy. Someone who is passionate about hospitality, developing their skills, and gets a kick out of helping their team give our guests the best experience possible.

You’ll be joining Caravan as we open a special new restaurant, with two floors, multiple bars and plenty of opportunity to make your mark from day one.

The role

As Kitchen Porter, you’ll work with your Head Chef and the management team to make sure the kitchen runs brilliantly every day. That means following standards for health & safety, culture, hospitality and developing yourself and the team around you to make sure your kitchen is one they’re all proud to work in. You’ll know how to work collaboratively as a team member and help your team deliver for your guests.
