Job summary

Caravan Southbank in London is seeking a Chef de Partie to help lead our kitchen team from day one. You will work with the Head Chef to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, maintaining health and safety standards and delivering consistently excellent dishes.

Join a dynamic new venue with two floors and multiple bars; you’ll have space to grow, mentor colleagues, and contribute to a guest experience that reflects Caravan’s global-inspired cooking and hospitality.

This November, we’re opening our tenth, and biggest, Caravan at the Southbank. And we’re looking for a brilliant Chef de Partie to help lead our kitchen team. We’re after someone kind, confident and genuinely passionate about what they do. Someone who is passionate about fresh ingredients, developing their skills, and gets a kick out of helping their team give our guests the best experience possible

You’ll be joining Caravan as we open a special new restaurant, with two floors, multiple bars and plenty of opportunity to make your mark from day one.

The role

As Chef de partie, you’ll work with your Head Chef and the management team to make sure the kitchen runs brilliantly every day. That means following standards for health & safety, culture, hospitality and developing yourself and the team around you to make sure every dish sent out is one you’re proud to serve. You’ll know how to work collaboratively as a team member and help your team deliver for your guests.

What you'll be doing as Chef de Partie

• Following the standards for health & safety, and delivering excellence from the kitchen
• Making sure every dish is made consistently, confidently and to spec
• Giving new team members a helping hand, welcoming them aboard and inspiring their development
• Keeping on top of stock, cleanliness, health & safety and all the brilliant basics that make a great kitchen work
