Job summary

Sofitel London Gatwick, part of the Arora Group, is seeking a Kitchen Porter to keep the kitchen clean and supported. You will assist chefs and ensure hygiene and safety across working areas, including washing crockery and equipment.

The role suits someone who thrives in a busy team, values collaboration, and maintains an approachable, proactive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

• Support the chefs with kitchen service preparation, e.g. cutting vegetables.

A bit about what you will do

Kitchen Porters are an integral part of our kitchen team. Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and tidy while supporting the chefs with essential tasks. Maintain cleanliness and safety of working areas. Washing all hotel crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils and equipment, food service equipment. Supporting the chefs with kitchen service preparation, cutting vegetables etc.
