Job summary

Qualifications

• Willingness to work across opening hours including evenings and weekends.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Kitchen Porter support in food preparation and ensure the smooth running of our kitchen. In this role, you will assist with obtaining ingredients, clean food preparation equipment, and maintain a safe, tidy kitchen environment. In this role, you will be responsible for obtaining the necessary ingredients and small equipment for food preparation. You will follow standard recipes and ensure food preparation is executed according to the Club's specifications. You will use safe and sanitary food handling practices, while maintaining cleanliness in your workstation, including washing all crockery, cutlery, and kitchen utensils to the required standards. Your duties will also include cleaning food storage areas, managing waste, and ensuring all kitchen utensils are properly stored. You will actively contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and hygienic kitchen environment, assist the chef team where needed, and participate in departmental meetings.
