Job summary

BM Caterers, a multi award-winning contract catering company, is looking for a Kitchen Porter to support operations across zone 1 to 3. You’ll help keep the kitchen clean, tidy and hygienic, assist with basic food prep, and ensure proper storage and delivery processes.

You should be able to follow procedures, communicate well, and present a neat appearance. Experience in a food environment is preferred, with Food Safety Level 2 and COSHH awareness being advantageous; training and development

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a food environment is preferred.
• Food Safety Level 2 certification is desirable, with good awareness of health & safety and COSHH.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy and hygienic, disinfect surfaces, utensils and tools.
• Carry out basic food prep and assist with food storage and delivery.
• Follow procedures and instructions carefully with good communication and a neat appearance.
