Job summary

Artemis Venue Services Ltd is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join the Bassmead Manor venue in Cambridgeshire. You will support the kitchen team with dishwashing, cleaning and basic food preparation, ensuring a calm, efficient service.

The role offers a £28,500 annual salary plus overtime, full uniform, training courses and opportunities to work across our estate. You must be eligible to work full-time in the UK and have reliable transport.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a similar position preferred but not essential.
• Proven track record with good references.
• Strong communication skills, hygiene awareness, and basic COSHH knowledge.
• Own transport is essential due to location. This is not a live-in position.
• Eligible to work full-time in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, tidy kitchen and dishwashing area.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation.
• Report to Head Chef / Sous Chef / General Manager daily.

Artemisare looking for a kitchen porter to join our kitchen team at our Bassmead Manor venue in Cambridgeshire.

The successful candidate will need to be self-motivation, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

The must haves

• 1 years' experience in a similar position preferred but not essential. Full training provided.
• A proven track record, with good references to support your CV.
• Strong Communication skills. Hygiene awareness and basic knowledge of food safety and COSHH.
• Own transport is essential due to the location. This is not a live in position.
• Candidates must be eligible to work full-time in the UK

What will my responsibilities include?

• Keeping a clean, tidy working environment, dishwashing, kitchen sanitation and waste management.
• Assisting chefs in basic food preparation.
• Day to day reporting to the Head chef/Sous chef/General Manager
