Hotel Indigo K West Shepherd’s Bush is seeking a Kitchen Porter to help maintain spotless kitchens and support our back-of-house team. You will clean surfaces, equipment and crockery to high standards and assist chefs and servers throughout the day.

The role requires reliability, energy, good attention to detail, and physical stamina. Training is provided, with shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays in a vibrant London neighbourhood.

Qualifications

• Reliability and energy to work behind the scenes in a busy kitchen.
• Strong teamwork and willingness to support chefs and servers.
• Good hygiene practices and attention to detail are essential.
• Physical stamina to be on your feet and lift during shifts.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Experience in a similar role is a bonus; full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen surfaces, equipment, and crockery spotless and sanitised to high standards.
• Support waste control and recycling procedures to maintain a clean back-of-house.
• Operate dishwashing machines and cleaning tools safely, following COSHH and hygiene rules.
• Be part of the team by assisting chefs and servers during busy periods and events.
• Maintain floors, wash areas, and health and safety compliance.
• Assist with stock movement and ensure equipment is returned to storage after cleaning.
