Gino D’Acampo Leeds, located within Leeds Marriott Hotel, is hiring a Full-Time Kitchen Porter to support our busy kitchen team. The role covers 40 hours per week across 5 days, helping chefs, keeping the kitchen clean, and supporting with deliveries and food safety.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic Food & Beverage team, work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to delivering a fantastic guest experience. Previous kitchen experience is welcome but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Support the kitchen team with smooth running of the kitchen.
• Wash and clean dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment.

• Assist with cleaning floors, surfaces and equipment.
• Remove and dispose of waste safely and efficiently.
• Assist with deliveries and storing food/kitchen supplies.
• Maintain high standard of cleanliness throughout service and at end of shift.

We are looking for a Full-Time Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team. As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play an essential role in supporting our chefs and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly, efficiently and to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

This is a 40-hour-per-week role, working over 5 days.

What you’ll do

• Support the kitchen team with the smooth running of the kitchen
• Wash and clean dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment
• Ensure all kitchen areas are kept clean, tidy and organised
• Assist with the cleaning of floors, surfaces and equipment
• Remove and dispose of waste safely and efficiently
• Assist with deliveries, including storing food and kitchen supplies correctly
• Ensure kitchen equipment and work areas are maintained to a high standard
• Support chefs and the wider team with preparation and other kitchen duties when required
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Work efficiently to keep up with the demands of a busy restaurant
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout service and at the end of each shift
