Job summary

Gino D’Acampo Leeds is hiring two Casual Kitchen Porters to support our busy kitchen and keep service running smoothly. You'll help with dishwashing, cleaning, waste disposal and prep as part of a friendly team.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Keep kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised.
• Assist with the cleaning of floors, surfaces and equipment.
• Remove and dispose of waste safely and efficiently.
• Assist with deliveries, including storing food and kitchen supplies correctly.
• Ensure kitchen equipment and work areas are maintained to a high standard.
• Support chefs and the wider team with preparation and other kitchen duties when required.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.

We are looking for 2 Casual Kitchen Porters to join our busy kitchen team. As a Casual Kitchen Porter, you’ll play an essential role in supporting our chefs and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly, efficiently and to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work as part of a friendly and energetic team.

What you’ll do

• Support the kitchen team with the smooth running of the kitchen
• Wash and clean dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment
• Ensure all kitchen areas are kept clean, tidy and organised
• Assist with the cleaning of floors, surfaces and equipment
• Remove and dispose of waste safely and efficiently
• Assist with deliveries, including storing food and kitchen supplies correctly
• Ensure kitchen equipment and work areas are maintained to a high standard
• Support chefs and the wider team with preparation and other kitchen duties when required
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Work efficiently to keep up with the demands of a busy restaurant
