LGH Hotels Management Ltd. is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter for Holiday Inn Milton Keynes - Central to help keep the kitchen running smoothly, safely and efficiently. You will support the chefs with preparation and set‑up, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation behind the scenes.

This role is at the heart of a busy kitchen where teamwork, reliability and attention to hygiene are crucial to delivering a positive dining experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment thoroughly and efficiently
• Keep all kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised throughout the shift
• Sweep and mop floors and manage waste and recycling responsibly
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling and chopping vegetables
• Receive, check and store deliveries of food and kitchen supplies correctly
• Support kitchen set‑up and close‑down procedures
• Clean cooking equipment and work surfaces to hygiene standards
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety guidelines at all times
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support smooth service
• Report any maintenance, hygiene or health & safety concerns promptly
