Job summary

Holiday Inn London Heathrow M4J4 is reopening after transformation to serve business travellers, holidaymakers and crews. We are seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to join the kitchen team and help keep the kitchen running smoothly, safely and efficiently.

In this role you will maintain high standards of cleanliness, assist with basic food prep, support set-up and service, and ensure hygiene and safety guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• Reliable, hardworking and takes pride in doing a job well.
• Understanding of cleanliness, hygiene and safe kitchen practices.
• Able to work as part of a fast-paced kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment thoroughly and efficiently.
• Keep all kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised throughout the shift.
• Sweep and mop floors and manage waste and recycling responsibly.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling and chopping vegetables.
• Receive, check and store deliveries of food and kitchen supplies correctly.
• Support kitchen set-up and close-down procedures.
• Clean cooking equipment and work surfaces to hygiene standards.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety guidelines at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support smooth service.
• Report any maintenance, hygiene or health & safety concerns promptly.
