Haven is hiring a Kitchen Porter to keep the kitchen clean and efficient in a fast-paced environment. You will help with dishwashing, basic food prep, and stock management, contributing to a smooth kitchen operation behind the scenes.

No prior experience is required, but a background in kitchens or catering is a plus. The role offers flexible shifts, training, and opportunities to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required, kitchen environment or porter background is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and standing for long periods.
• Excellent team player with good communication skills.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans; sanitise surfaces, equipment and floors per health standards.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by chefs.
• Help manage kitchen stock by organising ingredients and unpacking deliveries.
