Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support our restaurant operations and deliver great customer experiences. You will assist with general kitchen duties, maintain cleanliness, and support the kitchen team to present meals to a high standard and on time.

We value team players who communicate well, thrive in a busy environment and are eager to learn about dietary requirements, allergens, and health and safety practices. Prior food safety knowledge would be ideal.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in food service.
• Knowledge and understanding of kitchen health, safety and hygiene rules.
• Relevant food safety qualifications would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Support general kitchen duties and help ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Maintain cleaning and dishwasher operations and ensure equipment availability.
• Work with the kitchen team to present meals to a high standard and on time.
• Develop knowledge of dietary requirements, allergens and health & safety.
