The University of St Andrews is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our busy catering team. You will support chefs, keep the kitchen clean, and help with stock and food preparation as required.

This role offers training, a friendly team, and a range of staff benefits including annual leave and a hybrid working environment. You will contribute to a safe, hygienic kitchen and efficient service.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude and be reliable.
• Ability to work well in a team and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Comfort with fast-paced environment and flexible shifts.
• Previous kitchen or catering experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

Responsabilités

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots and pans.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout kitchen and food prep areas.
• Assist with delivery, storage and organization of stock.
• Remove waste and recycling according to procedures.
• Support chefs with basic food preparation when required.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety regulations.
• Keep kitchen equipment clean and ready for use.
