Job summary

Crerar Hotels is looking for a Kitchen Porter to support busy kitchen teams across our hotels in Scotland and the Lake District. You will help maintain a clean, organised workspace and assist with deliveries, contributing to high hygiene standards.

This hands-on role requires stamina and flexibility, including weekend shifts. Training may be provided to help you grow, and you’ll join a caring team in a company that values its people and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen hygiene and safe food handling best practices.
• Able to work weekends and flexible shifts.
• Willingness to participate in training and develop skills.
• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors and surfaces to maintain a clean kitchen area.
• Clean kitchen equipment by hand and with the dishwasher.
• Assist with organising deliveries and stock handling.
• Support deep cleans and general cleaning duties as required.
