Holiday Inn Bristol - Filton is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to keep the kitchen clean, organized and running smoothly behind the scenes. You will support chefs, assist with basic prep, and help maintain high hygiene standards to ensure a positive dining experience.

The role emphasizes practical, hands-on work in a fast-paced kitchen, with opportunities to learn and grow within a renowned hotel group. On-site role with access to hotel facilities and employee benefits.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment thoroughly and efficiently
• Keep all kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised throughout the shift
• Sweep and mop floors and manage waste and recycling responsibly
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling and chopping vegetables
• Receive, check and store deliveries of food and kitchen supplies correctly
• Support kitchen set-up and close-down procedures
• Clean cooking equipment and work surfaces to hygiene standards
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety guidelines at all times
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support smooth service
• Report any maintenance, hygiene or health & safety concerns promptly
• Is reliable, hardworking and takes pride in doing a job well
• Enjoys practical, hands-on work in a fast-paced environment
• Understands the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation
• Likes being part of a team and supporting others to succeed
• Is willing to learn and help where needed
