Job summary

LGH Hotels Management Limited is currently seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to join the Holiday Inn Bristol-Filton kitchen team. You will support chefs, maintain cleanliness and organisation, and help with basic food preparation to ensure smooth service and high hygiene standards.

Working behind the scenes, you will play a vital role in guest dining experiences by keeping surfaces, equipment and floors spotless and by following health and safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications

• Willingness to perform manual kitchen duties.
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Reliable and punctual team player.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment thoroughly and efficiently
• Keep all kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised throughout the shift
• Sweep and mop floors and manage waste and recycling responsibly
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling and chopping vegetables
• Receive, check and store deliveries of food and kitchen supplies correctly
• Support kitchen set‑up and close‑down procedures
• Clean cooking equipment and work surfaces to hygiene standards
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety guidelines at all times
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support smooth service
• Report any maintenance, hygiene or health & safety concerns promptly
• Free meals on duty and free parking
