Easthampstead Park Hotel & Wedding Venue is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support our busy culinary team. This casual/zero-hours role offers the potential to become permanent, with duties including dishwashing, basic food prep, and maintaining a hygienic kitchen.

The role requires reliability and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced hospitality setting; full training will be provided where needed. In return, employees gain access to canteen, pension, staff discounts, parking, and more.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is desirable but not essential.
• Familiarity with basic food preparation and kitchen procedures is an advantage.
• Experience in hospitality or culinary roles can be beneficial for understanding service standards.

Responsabilités

• Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to uphold hygiene standards
• Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the chef or kitchen supervisor
• Supporting the cleaning of kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment to maintain a safe working environment
• Organising storage areas and ensuring all items are stored correctly and safely
• Helping with waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently
• Assisting with stock rotation and inventory checks as needed
• Supporting the serving staff during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
