Holiday Inn Southampton-Eastleigh is seeking an energetic Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team. You will help keep the kitchen clean, support chefs with basic food preparation, and ensure hygienic, orderly operations across all work areas.

The role includes dishwashing, equipment cleaning, stock awareness, and assisting with food preparation as needed. Shifts are varied, including evenings and weekends, with a flexible pattern discussed at interview.

Responsabilités

• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing, mopping, and wiping surfaces
• Assist with the preparation of ingredients and support the chefs during food preparation
• Handle and store food in accordance with safety and hygiene regulations
• Maintain the inventory of kitchen supplies and inform the management team when items are low in stock
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that food is prepared and delivered promptly and according to standards
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Dispose of waste properly and recycle whenever possible
