Holroyd Howe is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter/Assistant to join the Bishopsgate School kitchen team in Egham (Englefield Green). You will help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment within an education setting.

Key duties include cleaning equipment, assisting with basic food prep, operating the dishwasher, following hygiene and allergen controls, and supporting daily service. You’ll join a team dedicated to fresh, high-quality catering for pupils.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience or relevant training is beneficial but not essential.
• Keen interest in food and cooking, eager to learn and develop skills.
• Good attention to detail and understanding of hygiene practices.

Responsabilités

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Assist chefs with basic food prep and stock deliveries.
• Operate dishwashers and ensure proper sanitation practices.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Support the team in daily kitchen operations and setup for service.
• Champion allergen controls and maintain safe mealtimes for pupils.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter/Assistant to join the kitchen team at Bishopsgate School in Egham (Englefield Green). This is a great opportunity to play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment in a supportive, food-led Education setting.,

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Assist chefs with basic food prep and stock deliveries
• Operate dishwashers and ensure proper sanitation practices
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
• Support the team in daily kitchen operations and setup for service

Salary: £12.71 per hour (32.5 hours per week) (10am - 5pm)
