Job summary

Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Kitchen Porter for our team at Hyster, Craigavon. You will work 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7am–2pm, with free on-site parking. The role involves supporting food preparation, serving customers and maintaining high hygiene standards.

You will comply with HACCP and health and safety regulations, maintain a clean work area, and work well both in a team and independently. Access NI checks apply; ex-offenders policy is in place.

Qualifications

• Previous food handling experience.
• High levels of personal hygiene and appearance.
• Attention to detail in all aspects of the work.
• Leads by example and lives our values.
• Basic statutory training and Access NI check.
• Company policy on recruiting ex-offenders available on request.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and friendly service to customers as part of a team.
• Assist with all aspects of food preparation and presentation to high quality standards.
• Comply with HACCP regulations and Health, Safety & Hygiene standards.
• Maintain a hygienic and tidy environment; keep tables, accompaniments and counters clean and stocked.
• Check deliveries and food temperatures, complete records and operate the till as required.
• Communicate effectively with the team at all levels.
