Job summary

Warwick Schools Foundation is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support a busy Catering Department and help ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operation. Responsibilities include cleaning tasks designated by the Head Chef, hand-washing cooking equipment and tins, operating and cleaning the dishwasher, and maintaining clearing stations and large equipment such as fryers and canopy.

Working hours are 15 hours per week for 36 weeks per year (term-time plus inset days and 3 additional days); the times

Job description

We are seeking to appoint a Kitchen Porter to help a busy and thriving Catering Department at Warwick Schools Foundation to support the smooth and efficient operation of the Catering Department.

Responsibilities will include:

• The completion of cleaning tasks as designated by the Head Chef or senior members of staff.

  Hand- washing of all cooking equipment, tins etc.

  Operating and cleaning dishwasher.

  Working on and cleaning of clearing stations

  Cleaning large equipment, fryers, canopy etc.

Working hours: 15 Hours per week and 36 weeks per year (Term-time only plus inset plus 3 days)

Working times: 11:30am to 3:00pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break

Actual Wage: £8,038 per annum actual salary
