Job summary

Benugo is offering a 45-hour-per-week role across flexible days in a 7-day period. You will help maintain high standards of cleanliness in our kitchens and service areas, manage storage, and assist with some food prep and service when needed.

Role includes reporting incidents and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety and COSHH. Benefits include meals on shift, pension enrolment, generous leave, and employee support programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all areas of kitchens and service areas to the highest standard of cleanliness
• Maintain catering storage areas, organised and clean
• Receive, count, inspect and store goods/equipment as required
• Involve in some food preparation and service when required
• Report incidents, accidents, loss, damage, unfit food or irregularities and take appropriate action
• Report broken equipment to Kitchen Leader and General Manager
• Ensure adherence to Health and Safety, Food Safety and COSHH

Job description

Hours: 45 hours per week (working any 5 days in a 7-day period)

Key Responsibilities:

• To ensure all areas of the kitchens and service areas are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness, providing a clean and safe working area.
• To maintain all catering storage areas, ensuring they are always organised and clean.
• To receive, count, inspect and store goods and/or equipment as and when required.
• To be involved with some food preparation and service when required.
• Report immediately any incidents or accidents, loss, damage, unfit food, or other irregularities and take such actions as may be appropriate.
• Report any broken equipment to the Kitchen Leader and General Manager.
• To ensure all legislative and government guidelines are adhered to, such as Health and Safety, Food Safety and COSHH.
