Berkeley Scott in Wolverhampton is seeking Kitchen Porters for school catering assignments. Roles offer £12.71-£14.00 per hour with weekly pay and immediate starts, providing regular, ongoing work in a busy kitchen environment.

Previous kitchen experience is helpful, but not essential; DBS and safety certificates are required or obtainable. You will wash dishes, keep areas clean, assist chefs, and follow hygiene procedures in a supportive team setting.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As a Kitchen Porter, you'll play an important role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly. Your duties will include:

• Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment

• Keeping kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised

• Cleaning worktops and food preparation areas

• Supporting chefs and the wider catering team

• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly

• Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures

It's a hands-on role where you'll be an important part of the team!

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO APPLY?

We're looking for candidates who are:

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking

• Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment

• Able to work well as part of a team

• Willing to learn and get stuck in

You'll also need:

• An Enhanced DBS check for school-based assignments

• Two references

• Food Safety Level 2 certificate, or willingness to obtain one

• Food Allergen Awareness certificate, or willingness to obtain one

Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, Kitchen Assistant or Catering Assistant is an advantage but isn't essential.
