Job summary

Sodexo Live! is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join the team at Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club for the 2026/27 season. You will support busy kitchen operations across matchdays and non-match days, ensuring clean and efficient service environments and strict hygiene controls.

Ideal candidates will be reliable, hardworking and able to work evenings, weekends and event days as part of a fast-paced catering facility. Training and team support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen portering or cleaning is desirable but not essential.
• Demonstrates a hardworking and reliable attitude in a busy kitchen.
• Ability to work well within a fast-paced team environment and follow hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Ensure cleaning schedules and hygiene standards are followed.
• Dispose of waste correctly and support recycling procedures where required.
• Keep floors, surfaces, and workstations clean and hazard-free.
• Support with kitchen setup and close-down procedures.
• Ensure bins are emptied regularly and waste areas remain clean.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
• Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods.

We are looking for hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porters to support our busy kitchen operations within a fast-paced hospitality and event environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency across all kitchen areas during matchdays, conferences, concerts, and premium hospitality events.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes as part of a team and takes pride in maintaining high standards within the kitchen environment.

What you'll do
