Job summary

Randalls in Guernsey is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to support busy kitchen teams and help maintain clean, safe, and efficient back-of-house operations.

You will assist chefs, manage the pot wash area, and uphold high hygiene standards while enjoying training and opportunities for career progression within the hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or cleaning experience welcomed; full training provided.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a team-player mentality.
• High standards of personal hygiene and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure all kitchen areas, floors, surfaces, and equipment are kept impeccably clean and hygienic throughout the shift.
• Wash Up: Efficiently operate and manage the pot wash area, ensuring crockery, cutlery, pots, and pans are thoroughly washed and ready for use.
• Kitchen Support: Assist chefs with basic, foundational food preparation tasks as required.
• Stock & Waste Management: Help manage general kitchen waste, recycling, and basic stock organization.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all health, safety, food hygiene, and COSHH regulations at all times.

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to join one of our busy kitchen teams within the group.

This is a fantastic opportunity to start or develop your career in hospitality. You will play a vital role in keeping our kitchens clean, safe, and running smoothly behind the scenes, supporting our chefs to deliver exceptional food to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Eligible to work in the UK or Channel Islands.
