Job summary

De Vere Cotswold Water Park in the Cotswolds is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join the busy kitchen team. You will clean equipment, utensils and work areas, support the brigade and help keep store rooms organised, while upholding high hygiene and safety standards.

The role is hands-on and physical, with shifts including early mornings and late evenings on a rota that covers weekends. Full training is provided and there are ample opportunities for progression within the group.

We’re looking for a Kitchen Porter to join the kitchen team at De Vere Cotswold Waterpark Hotel

As a Kitchen Porter with De Vere you’ll work at the heart of our busy kitchen, helping to keep everything clean, organised and running smoothly. You’ll make sure kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas are cleaned and ready when the team needs them, while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

It’s a hands‑on and physical role where you’ll be on your feet and working as part of a busy team. You’ll help with deliveries, moving equipment and keeping kitchen and storage areas organised, getting involved wherever you’re needed to support the brigade.

And if you’re interested in becoming a Chef, there may be opportunities to get involved with basic food preparation, learn from the chefs around you and develop your skills. It’s not an expectation of the role, but for those who are keen, a Kitchen Porter role can be a great place to start a career in the kitchen.

This role involves working a mixture of earlies and late shifts to include weekends on a rota basis. - 0700-1530 / 1600-2330

• You’ll be comfortable with the physical nature of the role and being on your feet throughout your shift.
• You’ll be reliable, punctual and ready to get involved wherever the team needs you.
• Previous kitchen or cleaning experience would be helpful, but it’s not essential as full training will be provided.
