Job description

Reports to: Head Chef
Location: Cairngorm Mountain

The Kitchen Porter will help maintain our kitchen to the highest standards of cleanliness and will assist the wider kitchen team as directed.

Pay Rate:

• £12.60 per hour
• Day shifts only

Roles and Responsibilities

The primary role of a kitchen porter is to support the kitchen staff by maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene. Key tasks include washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and ensuring workstations are tidy, enabling chefs and cooks to prepare food efficiently.

• Clean all cutlery, crockery, and kitchen equipment to the highest standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Follow cleaning schedules, maintain general cleaning standards, and empty bins.
• Be aware of all Kitchen Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Observe all Health & Safety requirements and ensure compliance with procedures, risk assessments, and company policies.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
