We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter at Norton House Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

About the Role

The person we are looking for will enjoy maintaining a clean working environment, being active and working with the Chefs to complete daily and weekly tasks. You’ll enjoy working as part of a team and always be looking for ways to help the smooth-running of the kitchen. You may even be considering a career as a Chef in the future and if you do, we will help you to reach your goal. No experience is necessary although it would of course be welcomed, but a positive attitude and good work ethic is most important.

• You’ll have previous experience in a similar environment and role
• You’ll be a stickler for hygiene and be able to demonstrate best practice
• You will value being part of a team, and support your colleagues
• You’ll feel comfortable in a fast-paced, busy environment
• Most of all, you’ll have an approachable, positive and proactive manner

• A competitive salary package of £14.32 per hour, plus a share of service charge.
• This is a Full-Time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business needs.
