Job summary

Côte Brasserie in the United Kingdom is looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our Back of House team. You’ll help keep the kitchen clean and organized so our chefs can deliver high‑quality dishes to guests.

This role supports busy service by operating the dishwasher, keeping crockery and utensils ready, restocking supplies and assisting with light food preparation when needed. We value a positive, reliable, team‑oriented attitude and offer meals on shift, staff discounts and opportunities to grow

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen and back-of-house areas spotless, safe and organized before, during and after service.
• Operate the dishwasher and ensure crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are clean and ready for use.
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked and assist with basic food preparation when needed.
• Manage waste and recycling safely and responsibly.
• Notice equipment faults or hazards and report them to the team.
• Support the chefs during busy service to help things move smoothly.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards at all times.

What you’ll do

As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll be an essential part of the kitchen team, helping keep everything behind the scenes running smoothly so our chefs can do what they do best.

• Keep the kitchen and back-of-house areas spotless, safe and organised, before, during and after service.
• Operate the dishwasher and make sure crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are clean and ready when the team needs them.
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked and support the kitchen with basic food preparation when needed.
• Manage waste and recycling safely and responsibly.
• Keep an eye out for equipment faults or hazards and let the team know when something needs attention.
• Support the chefs wherever you can, especially when the kitchen is busy.
• Follow our food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards at all times.
